This is the second pas de deux in this Bolshoi Ballet Gala , starring Svetlana Lunkina and Sergei Filin . After becoming director of the Tbilisi Ballet company in Georgia in 2004, Nina Ananiashvili contacted her former class mate Yuri Posokhov to choreograph a ballet based on traditional Georgian folk tunes. The result was a one act ballet called Sagalobeli , which in Georgian can mean folk tunes or church songs. This pas de deux is a fragment from the one act ballet with music by Georgi Tsabadze .
