Surprise - Nikolay the Superman ... ;) beats Nadal at Sony Ericsson 2008 in Miami. Gabriela Sabatini, Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson watching the game. Breaking News - Russian scientists invented the Tennis Serum that turned Mickey Mouse into Tennis Superman ... :) Just joking. Or not. Davydenko has never been able to beat a top ten player on a decent tournament. He's just not as good, even if he kept trying for many years. Now he is able to beat Nadal or Roddick - in their best. Easily. Remember all the dopping cases and scandals that Russians did in sports ... like "Disonischenko" (Boris Onishchenko) the russian Pentathlon dude, whose sword signaled touch by a pushbutton on the handle :) ... not to mention all the "great" swimmers and weight lifters ... ;) Shame. Our new Superman still has not cleared himself from his previous scandal (betting scandal) - and a new one is coming already? Shoot me ... but I think that's the case.
